WHAT IS COMMON SAGE:

Salvia Officinalis also known as Common Sage or Garden Sage perennial shrub that is a member of the Lamiaceae or mint family.  Its furry grayish-green leaves contain a multitude of highly medicinal and therapeutic compounds such as terpenes, flavonoids, and antioxidants.  Herbs in the mint family, like sage and rosemary, include antioxidants like carnosic and rosmarinic acids that have anti-cancer properties as well as memory boosting abilities.  Common Sage purifies the energy of objects, people, or space.  This practice helps tranquility and love.  Common Sage is used to create an energetically balanced space to meditate or simply live in.  Try Common Sage to clear negative energy and increase your connection to nature and higher awareness.  Common Sage is antibacterial and antiviral.  In tea form it can reduce harmful bacteria in the body and when burned, can reduce as much as 90% of bacteria in the air to quickly purify a large space.  The antiviral, antibacterial, properties stimulate the immune system while cleansing mold, bacteria, pathogens, and other pollutants from your air inside your home.  Common Sage has a lighter aroma than the traditional White Sage.  The aroma of Common Sage is bright and clean with subtle, spicy undertones and well tolerated to those with a more sensitive nose.  ENJOY!
